ChiRunning Team In ChiTraining Spring Session

This 11 week program will guide your ChiRunning practice while you train for a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon on June 29, 2014. Whether you are a beginning runner or a veteran of 10Ks and Half Marathons this training series is for the athlete who is interested in improving their running form first in order to build a foundation of aerobic strength necessary for performance running. You may also train for the marathon distance, or greater but contact Cheryl first to discuss whether this program is right for you.

This program is about learning how to run properly using the ChiRunning technique which reduces the impact of running making injury less likely and running more enjoyable and efficient. ChiRunning and this series is more than just a training program. 

It's about learning a worthwhile practice that allows you to move and live in balance. 

In order to get the outcome you want you must put in the work and you must practice. This program is for you if you are willing to make space for it in your life and are open to a much different kind of coaching and training philosophy. When you register, you are promising to yourself and others in the program that you will do your best because you said you would! And we will have fun too while working to reach your goals! That is what I promise.

April 12, Saturday at Carson City CrossFit from 9am to 2 pm (Mandatory). 

Choose from 4 more sessions of the following 6 sessions:

• April 19
, Saturday at CCCF from 2:30pm to 4:30pm

• May 10, Saturday at CCCF from 3:00pm to 4:30pm

• May 17, Saturday at CCCF from 2:00pm to 4:00pm

• May 31, Saturday at CCCF from 2:00pm to 4:00pm

• June 5, Thursday evening at CCCF from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

• June 19, Thursday evening at CCCF from 5:30pm to 7:30pm

The first session on April 12, Saturday is 5 hours and is mandatory for the series. 
• Pick 4 more session dates out of 6 listed for a total of up to 10 hours of ChiRunning instruction spread over the 12 weeks. 

• Video analysis at first session and during at least one other session. 

• Online running/workout log to keep you on track and benefit from weekly virtual coaching

• Personalized training program based on the principles of a ChiRunning practice

• Secret FB Group for Team in ChiTraining CCCF 

• ChiRunning tech shirt for completion of the program - requires attendance to 4 of the 6 sessions, maintenance of your training log, at least one interaction with Cheryl per week and, starting your race.
